This region, known for its nutrient-rich “Terra Roxa” (Red Earth) soil, produces some of the finest coffee in the world. After the devastating black frost of 1975, growers migrated here, cultivating coffee under ideal conditions—consistent rainfall, warm days, and dry winters.
